CLEVELAND, Ohio — JACK Cleveland Casino and Thistledown Racino will re-open Friday at 6 a.m., resuming 24-hour operations. But guests should expect to see major changes in the way operations are run to protect against the coronavirus.

The game floor has been reconfigured to allow for social distancing. Machines have been moved or disabled to provide at least a 6-foot distance between players.

In addition to fewer operational machines, a 50 percent capacity limit will be in place at both establishments.

Although many of the casinos’ attractions will be open, valet, coat check, poker, buffet, live events and retail will not be operating until further notice.

For guests hoping to eat and drink while at the casino, those options will still be available but in limited capacity. All casino bars will be closed, however drink service will be provided by cocktail servers throughout the space.

At JACK Cleveland Casino, Nonna Pazza and STACK’D will be open with reconfigured seating. The space will be limited to 30 minutes per guest to give team members time to disinfect.

Sanitization of high-touch areas will happen throughout the day with hospital-grade cleaning supplies. Hand sanitizer and wipes will be available for guests.
