Atlantic City Restaurants. Governor Murphy's Executive Order restricts the services of indoor food & beverage service, including alcohol on gaming floors between the hours of 10pm and 5am. Takeout will be available at select restaurants after 10pm. Drinks and cocktails will be available outside at Balcony Bar, check the hours of operation here. The Trump Taj Mahal, which closed in 2014, reopened as Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City in late June 2018. We will update our review and photography as soon as possible. The Trump Taj Mahal opened in 1990 after the success of the original Trump Plaza a mile down the boardwalk.

Sugar Factory has joined the collective of suburb brands at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ!

Accessible from the boardwalk and inside of the casino, Sugar Factory’s 1,500-square-foot confectionary will feature the signature floor-to-ceiling candy wall with more than 500 types of candy including a selection of novelty and bulk candy like the world-famous Couture Pops. Completing the confectionary, the café will offer coffees, hot chocolate, frozen hot chocolate, homemade specialty rainbow doughnuts and pastries in addition to homemade gelato and ice cream.
The dining room, replete with red tufted banquets, crystal chandeliers and antique brass accents, will seat more than 300 guests. Sugar Factory’s menu features signature items such as savory crepes, salads, monster burgers, insane milkshakes and specialty pizzas. The legendary desserts will top the menu with the famous King Kong Sundae, serving up to 12 people with 24 scoops of ice cream topped with sprinkles, gummy bears, caramel sauce, fudge sauce and giant swirly pops, to name a few.
Overlooking the casino, the elevated white marble bar seats 20 guests and provides full menu service complete with Sugar Factory’s signature 64 oz. alcohol-infused smoking candy goblets like the Lollipop Passion, garnished with lollipops and candy necklaces, and the Watermelon Mojito featuring Pitbull’s Voli 305 Vodka and sour watermelon gummies.
The food at Sugar Factory American Brasserie is a treat for all, offering guests a one-of-a-kind dining experience, serving decadent and tasty fare to satisfy any craving. Created by a team of world-class chefs, the signature menu offers everything from pancakes and sweet and savory crepes to salads, burgers and pizzas, all available throughout the day. Sugar Factory also offers spiked adult beverages made with premium spirits, including Sugar Factory’s signature 36-ounce alcohol-infused smoking candy goblets, all of which are available without alcohol for the kids.
